The Railway authorities made it compulsory from Saturday to mention the names of co-passengers to complete the process of purchasing train tickets.
Sandwip Debnath, the chief executive officer of Shohoz-Synesis-Vincen JV, an associate entity of the Railway E-Ticketing Service, said this today.

He said it is mandatory to mention the names of co-passengers (as given on their NID or photo ID) in the account through which their tickets will be bought.
Besides, all passengers must carry their NID/photo ID document while traveling, the official added.
