Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina goes to Khulna Sunday on a daylong visit on the occasion of commissioning and induction of new ships in Bangladesh Navy (BN).It will be her first visit to Khulna after the Awami League government took office for the second consecutive term with an overwhelming victory in the last general elections held on January 5, 2014.The Prime Minister will first go to Mongla from Dhaka to join the commissioning function of three BN Ships KJ Ali, Sandwip and Hatia, PM`s Press Wing sources said.She will also attend the induction ceremony of two landing craft tanks LCT-103 and LCT-105 there.Later, Sheikh Hasina will visit Khulna Shipyard to inaugurate the keel-laying of two large patrol craft, and a container vessel, Nou Kalyan-1.The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to the capital in the afternoon, the sources said.Sheikh Hasina last visited Khulna on January 24 in 2013.
