Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Tuesday said the anti-liberation force is still plotting intrigues even after 52 years of independence, urging to forge stiff resistance against them as he paid glowing tribute to Bangabandhu on March 7.
"BNP and its leaders are the evil forces' main patrons. The March 7 pledge is to build a united resistance against the anti-liberation forces and those who want to take the country backward with the Pakistani ideology," he said.
Hasan, also Awami League Joint General Secretary, told the newsmen after paying homage at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in capital Dhaka's Dhanmondi-32.
The minister said the greatest Bangalee of all time Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's March 7 speech inspired an unarmed nation in turning into an armed nation to achieve independence.
"Bangabandhu had declared that 'The struggle this time is the struggle for our liberation. The struggle this time is the struggle for our independence’”, he added.
