BNP has announced to form human chains at the divisional city and district levels across the country on March 11 to protest the commodity prices hike and press home their 10-point demand, including the resignation of the current government.
The party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement in a brief rally after a road march program at Uttara in capital Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
Referring to the ministers' statements 'Elections will be held under current constitution', he questioned, "That constitution, which Awami League arranged by making corrections to for a fabricated election."?

People did not go to the polling stations and dogs were seen asleep there in the earlier elections which photos were published in the media, he said, adding, "Arrangements for such fabricated polls are going on again."
Saying elections will not be neutral under this government, Mirza Fakhrul vowed, "Now, the election of joke will not be allowed and for this, peaceful movement is going on."
Urging BNP leaders and activists to move forward ongoing movement, the party secretary general also said, "We have been in agitation for the last 15 years and we will continue it. If someone obstructs this, we will advance crossing it."
