Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has decreased the prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 76 to Tk 1,422 per 12 kg cylinder.
The new prices will come into effect from 6 pm today (March 2), BERC said in a notice on Thursday.
According to the fresh prices, 15 kg cylinder will now cost Tk 1,778, 16 kg Tk 1,897, 18 kg Tk 2,134, 20 kg Tk 2,371, 22 kg Tk 2,608, 25 kg Tk 2,964, 30 kg Tk 3,557, 33 kg 3,912, 35 kg Tk 4,150 and 45 kg Tk 5,334.
Earlier, the government raised LPG prices to Tk 1,498 per 12 kg cylinder for the month of February.
