A Magura court on Tuesday convicted five people and sentenced them to life term imprisonment for killing Azizar in 2006.According to the prosecution, Azizar was hacked by miscreants while he was returning home with his brother after finishing Jumma prayer on February 16, 2008.Later, he was rushed to Magura Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.Lutfur Khabir, brother of Azizar filed a case accusing 22 people with Mahammadpur police station.Police submitted charge sheet against 22 suspects after investigation.After examining the records and witnesses, Additional District and Sessions Judge Sayed Arafat Hossain handed down the verdict.
