The results of scholarship examinations of primary school students will be published on Tuesday.
The Public Relations Division of Primary and Mass Education Ministry confirmed the matter to Jago News on Monday.
The results will be published at a press conference to be held at the ministry at 12:30pm on Tuesday. State Minister of the ministry Md Zakir Hossain will address the media. Secretary of the ministry Farid Ahmmed and Primary Education Directorate Director Geenral Shah Rezwan Hayat will present during this time.
Earlier on February 14, Secretary of the ministry Farid Ahmmed at a press conference said, the results of scholarship examinations of primary school students will be published between February 25-28.
This year, around 483,759 students of Class V sat for the examination held in December 30. Of them, 82,500 will get the scholarships.
The students took part in Bangla, English, Mathematics, and Science subjects in the scholarship examinations. The duration of the 100 marks exam was 2 hours.
It is mentionable that, the Primary and Mass Education Ministry introduced the Primary Education Certificate (PEC) exams in 2009. The PEC exams were not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Later, the government announced that there would not be any PEC and Junior School Certificate (JSC) exams under the new curriculum.
