Khaleda Zia’s personal assistant Mahbub dies

Mahbub Al Amin Dew, a personal assistant of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, has passed away. He was 65.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital on Friday night.  

Shayrul Kabir Khan, BNP’s media cell member, confirmed the death to Jago News.

He said, Mahbub will be buried at his village under Gabtali upazila in Bogura. 

Hearing the death news, some BNP leaders including BNP Chairperson’s special assistant advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas visited deceased Mahbub.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed his deep shock at the death of Mahbub. 

It is mentionable that, Mahbub was a relative of late president and BNP founder Ziaur Rahman.
