Rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions and the districts of Kishoregonj and Brahmanbaria, a met release said on Thursday.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, said the release issued for 24 hours commencing from 9am today.
Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the river basins of the country during midnight till tomorrow morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 33.5 degrees Celsius jointly at Rajshahi, Chuadanga and Kumarkhali and minimum temperature today was 16.5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
The highest rainfall for last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 19mm/day at Netrokona.
The sun sets at 5.58 PM and today and rises at 6.25 am tomorrow in the capital.
