GD filed not to release web series on Salman Shah's mysterious death

A general diary has been filed in Sylhet to block the release of Buker Moddhe Agun, a web series made on the mysterious death of film star Salman Shah.

His maternal uncle Alamgir alias Kumkum Mamu lodged the GD with Kotwali Model Police Station on Wednesday.

The police station officer in-charge Mohammad Ali Mahmud confirmed the matter to Jago News.

In the general dairy, Alamgir said a case is under trial over Salman Shah's mysterious demise and in this situation, such a web series will affect the investigation and justice.

Earlier on February 5, he sent a legal notice to Taneem Rahman Angshu, director of the series, to stop releasing it.

Director Angshu, however, made the web series for the Indian OTT platform Hoichoi.
