Six people with dengue fever were hospitalized in the last 24 hours until Thursday morning.
Currently, a total of 34 patients diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals.
Of them, 13 are being treated at the facilities of Dhaka while 21 are in other divisions, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said today.
As per the release, a total of 628 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
In the past day, eight people died of dengue during the period while 586 out of the hospitalized patients recovered.
