Metro rail starts picking up passengers from Pallabi station

The metro rail on Wednesday started picking up passengers from Pallabi station in Mirpur.

The schedule of metro rail operation was also changed a bit.

The station opened at 8am and the train carrying passengers left the station at 8:30am. Besides, the train operation will continue until 12:30pm.

Earlier, the train would run between 8am and 12pm.     

On December 28, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the country’s first ever elevated metro rail.

She opened the 11.73 km part of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line-6 of the metro rail project from Diabari to Agargaon by unveiling its plaque at Diabari in the city.
