One dengue patient died and 10 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours until Friday morning.
With the latest death, a total of two people died of dengue to date this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said.
Currently, 127 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.
Of them, 55 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 72 are in other divisions.
As many as 370 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 241 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
