55 SUST students get NST Fellowship

A total of 55 students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) will receive the National Science and Technology Fellowship in Fiscal Year 2022-23 under the research project of the Science and Technology Ministry.

They were selected for the fellowship in physics, biological and medical sciences, and food and agricultural science categories, according to a press release published on the ministry website recently.

In this regard, SUST Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Anwarul Islam told Jago News the university day by day moves forward in education and research.

He also said the university students are being selected for fellowship in different places every year and he is proud of the continuation.

The fellowship is, however, given in three categories - physics, biological and medical sciences, and food and agricultural science - since FY 1977-78 to advance research works.
