The Ganatantra Mancha, a seven-party alliance, has announced to hold a mass sit-in program in capital Dhaka on January 11 next year.
The announcement was made after a mass procession brought out by the platform from in front of Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Friday.
The alliance held the mass procession as part of the simultaneous movement of the opposition parties to oust the current government.
The procession, however, ended at Kakrail intersection after parading Purana Paltan and Bijoynagar intersections.
Ganatantra Mancha leaders Saiful Haque, Zonayed Saki, Shahidullah Kaiser, Rashed Khan, among others, were present at the mass procession.
