Bangladesh National Cricket Team former captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been made youth and sports affairs secretary of Awami League.
AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader said this to journalists on Monday night after the end of a meeting of Awami League Presidium.
The meeting was held at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's official Ganabhaban residence.
In the meeting, Awami League President Sheikh Hasina got the responsibility of filling the rest of vacant posts in the central working committee of the party, Quader said.
Two posts in the presidium and one each of secretary and deputy secretary and posts of 28 central members remain vacant.
