Three people were killed in two separate road accidents in Tangail district on Friday morning.
Among the deceased, two were identified as Md Masud, 25, son of Wahed Ali, and Shakib, 20, son of Abdus Salam, residents of Isapur village in Sakhipur upazila.
Sakhipur Police Station sub-inspector Md Monir said a truck hit a motorcycle in Pathar Bazar area in the upazila, leaving two dead on the spot.
Police seized the truck but its driver and his assistant managed to flee, he added.
Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station officer in-charge Shafiqul Islam said a bus of 'Seba Paribahan' rammed a motorcycle in Analiabari area on the Dhaka-Tangail Highway, leaving the rider dead on the spot.
