Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has formed its full-fledged committee for the 2023-25 tenure.
The party's central Majlis-e-Shura formed the committee in a meeting on Friday, with its Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman in the chair, a press release said on Saturday.
Professor Mujibur Rahman, Syed Abdullah Md Taher, and Mawlana Shamsum Islam were elected nayeb-e-ameer while Mia Golam Parwar was elected secretary general in the new committee.
ATM Masum, Rafiqul Islam Khan, Hamidur Rahman Azad, Abdul Halim, Moazzam Hossain Helal, Mawlana Md Shahjahan, and Ehsanul Mahbub Zobair became assistant secretaries while Matiur Rahman Akanda publicity and media secretary.
