Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said BNP will make a mistake if they destroy the law and order situation in the name of rally. The court will take action if Khaleda Zia joins rally on December 10.
In a reply to a question of the journalists, the minister said this after the annual training conference 2022 of Bangladesh Police Women Network in the capital’s Rajarbagh on Wednesday.
He said, BNP has been allowed to organize their rally at Suhrawardy Udyan. They have mentioned two places - Suhrawardy Udyan and Manik Mia Avenue.
Earlier on Tuesday, BNP was allowed to hold its rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on December 10 on 26 conditions by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Later, in a reaction, BNP Senior Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said his party remained firm in its position to hold December 10 mass rally at Nayapaltan.
It is mentionable that, Khaleda Zia has been staying at her Gulshan residence since the suspended her jail sentence in March 2020. She was admitted to hospital several times.
