Four dengue patients died and 646 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours until Sunday morning.
With the latest death, a total of 230 people died of dengue to date, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said.
Currently, 2,478 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.
Of them, 1,386 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 1,092 are in other divisions.
As many as 52,807 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 50,099 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
