Three dengue patients died and 250 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours until Friday morning.
With the latest death, a total of 220 people died of dengue to date, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said.
Currently, 2,712 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.
Of them, 1,538 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 1,174 are in other divisions.
As many as 51,602 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 48,670 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
