Lyricist and entertainment journalist of newsg24 Omar Farook Bishal died in a road accident in Narsingdi on Monday morning.
His cousin Mamun confirmed the death to Jago News.
Source said, Bishal was going to Dhaka from Narsingdi by a motorbike. A speedy covered van hit his motorbike around 10:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.
Before joining at newsg24, Bishal used to work at Daily Jai Jai Din and Banglanews. ‘Amare Dia Dilam Tomare’, a song written by him has gained much popularity recently.
