A bus passenger and the helper of the bus were killed and 25 others including the driver injured when a speedy bus hit a road side tree at Pragpur-Koipal area under Daulatpur upazila of the district on Friday morning.Officer in Charge of Daulatpur Thana Shahidul Islam shaheen said a passenger bus of Ali Muhin Paribahan came from Kushtia with 40 to 45 passengers and hit a road side tree at Pragpur-Koipal area under Daulatpur upazila when the driver tried to give side to a motorcycle.The accident occurred after the passenger bus hit a road side tree and two persons died on the spot and 25 others were injured.The injured persons were admitted to Daulatpur Upazila Health Complex and Kushtia Sadar Hospital.The bodies were recovered and sent to Kushtia Sadar Hospital morgue for postmortem.
