Four dengue patients died and 1094 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours until Wednesday morning.
With the latest death, a total of 152 people died of dengue to date, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said.
Currently, 3,750 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.
Of them, 2,332 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 1,418 are in other divisions.
As many as 40,101 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 36,199 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
