6 Hindu leaders get death threats in Tangail

Miscreants have threatened six leaders of minority communities of Tangail district by posting death threats on their resident’s wall.Soron dutta, President of Bangladesh Hindu-Bouddha-Christian Oikya Parishad of the Bhuapur upazila, Santosh Kumar Dutta, General Secretary of Sushashoner Jonno Nagorik and Vice president of Bhuapur press club, Nitai Chandra Bormon, Vice President of Falda Kalimondir, Kanok Chandra Gosh, UP member of Falda Union, Shushil Chandra Bashak, retired school teacher, Shadan Chandra Majumder, President of Falda Trade union and minority leader, Vojon Chandra gosh, have received the death threat on Thursday night.Being informed about the death threats police rushed to the spot and recovered the posters.Additional police were deployed in the area said Fazlul Kabir, Officer in charge of Bhuapur police station.Security has been beefed up for the minorities family accommodated area and the culprits will be brought to book, he added.
