One dengue patient died and 1,034 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours until Sunday morning.
With the latest death, a total of 113 people died of dengue to date, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said.
Currently, 3,492 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.
Of them, 2,286 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 1,206 are in other divisions.
As many as 31,063 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 27,458 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
