Ekushey Padak winning actor and dramatist Masum Aziz has been put on life support at Square Hospitals in the capital.
He has been suffering from old age complications for long.
Sommilito Sangskritik Jote President Golam Quddus confirmed the matter to Jago News on Thursday.
While studying in Chittagong University, Aziz made his acting debut in theater. In 1985, he debuted in TV drama. He has played more than four hundred dramas and notable films since 1985.
He was honoured with a National Film Award for his performance in Ghani in 2006.
