Rajshahi University (RU) has taken the initiative of launching new Master's programs in four subjects aimed at boosting technological competency among students in the era of the fourth industrial revolution.
To this end, the students will be transformed into human resources by enhancing their technological skills.
Registrar Professor Abdus Salam said formal activities of the Master's programs will be introduced as soon as possible under the supervision of the RU Engineering Faculty. The programs are Cyber Security, Robotics and Automation Engineering, Internet of Things and Data Science Programme.
Vice-chancellor Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar said the main task of any of the universities is to generate competent human resources in accordance with the demand of the present era.
To attain this cherished goal, four new Master's programs are going to be launched in RU. Thereby, the students can avail the scopes of building themselves as skilled technologically and the country and the nation as well will get competent human resources.
