The government has raised the price of sugar by Tk 6 per kilogram and reduced the price of palm oil by Tk 8 per liter.
Now, per kg loose sugar will be sold at Tk 90, packet sugar at Tk 95, and per liter palm oil super at Tk 125.
Senior Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh said this to the media after a meeting at the Commerce Ministry at the Secretariat on Thursday.
