Comedian Abu Hena Rony shifted to cabin

Comedian Abu Hena Rony, who recently suffered burn injuries in balloon blasts in Gazipur, was shifted to a cabin from the High Dependency Unit at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.

Dr SM Ayub Hossain, the resident surgeon of the facility, confirmed the matter to Jago News this afternoon.

He was shifted to a cabin from the High Dependency Unit this afternoon as he is gradually improving, the physician said.

Abu Hena Rony and four others sustained burn injuries after some gas balloons exploded during the anniversary ceremony of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) in Gazipur on September 16.

They were rushed to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital, Gazipur, and later, referred to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

The four other injured are Mosharraf Hossain, Zillur Rahman, Imran Hossain, and Rubel Hossain.
