The High Court on Thursday ordered Housing and Public Works Minister Mosharraf Hossain to surrender before a lower court within six weeks in a case filed for amassing wealth worth Tk 3 crore.The High Court bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Amir Hossain passed the order after rejecting a petition filed by Mosharraf challenging legality of the proceedings of the corruption case.Following the petition of Mosharraf, the HC stayed the case proceedings and granted bail to him in the case, Lawyer Khurshid said. Now, the ACC has been given the go ahead with the case’s proceedings.Earlier, on November 25, 2007, ACC filed the case with Ramna Police Station against Mosharraf on charge of amassing Tk 3 crore wealth and concealing information.
