This year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams will begin on November 6.
The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education published the exams routine on Monday.
According to the routine, the theoretical exams will end on December 13 and later the practical exams will begin on December 15.
As per the decision taken by the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, the exams will take place for two hours (1.4 hours for written exams and 20 minutes for MCQ). Before the Covid pandemic, HSC exams were three hours long.
HSC exams were not held in 2020 due to the pandemic; students were evaluated based on their results in previous public exams.
