Bangladesh Nurses Association (BNA) has demanded to launch an Honors degree in nursing under the public university instead of the three-year Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery degree after passing the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent examinations.
The organization made the demand in a letter sent to the secretary of the Medical Education And Family Welfare Division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the director general of the Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery on Sunday.
