Krishak Sramik Janata League President Bangabir Abdul Kader Siddique has been admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital after he suffered a minor heart attack.
He was admitted to the facility on Wednesday, Cardiology department Professor Dr Md Rasul Amin told Jago News on Thursday.
He said Bangabir Kader Siddique suffered a minor heart attack and they performed his angiogram this morning.
In the test, they found two blocks in his heart but did not place rings as the blocks are not critical, he added.
Sources in BSMMU said a medical board comprising Prof Dr AKM Fazlur Rahman, Prof Dr Muhammad Abul Hasnat, Prof Dr Sohel Mahmud Arafat, Prof Dr Md Shahidullah Sabuj, and Prof Dr Md Rasul Amin has been formed to ensure his good treatment soon after admission there.
