BNP's protest programs over death of N'ganj Jubo Dal activist

BNP has announced a two-day protest program across the country over the death of Jubo Dal activist Shaon during a program in Narayanganj district.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir declared the programs in a brief speech after a colorful rally marking the party's founding anniversary.

Later, the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi informed about the programs in a statement.

The statement said Jubo Dal activist Shaon, 35, was shot dead by police in Narayanganj and BNP and its associate bodies' numerous leader-activist were injured in the attacks by cops and ruling party terrorists in different parts of the country while observing the party's 44th founding anniversary.

Protesting it, the party will hoist black flags at its city and district offices across the country and hold black badges on Friday. Alongside, ghaibana namaz-e-janaza will be held in cities and districts after the Jummah prayer.

On Saturday, the party will hold protest rallies in cities and districts.
