Zimbabwe won the toss and chose to bat first against Bangladesh in the last match of three-match ODI series at Harare Sports Club on Wednesday.
The defeat in the second match by five wickets on Sunday which ensured Bangladesh’s first ever ODI series defeat to Zimbabwe after nine years came up with an additional penalty as the Tigers were fined 40 per cent of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate.
The Tigers earlier lost the three-match T20 series by 2-1, which was also their first ever series defeat at the hands of Zimbabwe in this format.
