The Customs Intelligence and Investigation department seized a BMW car from city’s Mirpur area on Tuesday morning.Director General of customs intelligence and investigation department Maynul Khan confirmed the matter by saying the car was seized from house 16/1 of Mirpur’s Darus Salam area.However, the owner of the car could not be arrested. The car is worth Tk 3 crore with tax.The car was registered as having 2500cc cylinder capacity; but its actual cylinder capacity is 3000cc. The car’s chassis number was replaced with a fake one as well.Intelligence officials said a case will be filed in this connection and they are looking for the car owner.
