A court here today put BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia`s adviser and journalist leader Shawkat Mahmud on one day fresh remand in a case of committing subversive acts with Lalbagh Police Station.Metropolitan Magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan passed the order upon a seven day remand prayer.Shawkat Mahmud has so far taken on eight days remand in three phases.Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Shawkat Mahmud from in front of Samarai Convention Centre at Panthapath in the city.
