Police arrested a school teacher over making derogatory comments on state and women empowerment in school exam question paper of Manikganj Government Boys High School on Monday evening.The arrestee was identified as Ibrahim Dewan, Social Science teacher of Manikganj Government Boys High School.Police and School sources said Ibrahim Dewan has made oppressive comments in his question paper of Bangladesh and World Contacts by terming Bangladesh as a heaven for women where women are in higher post of state and they used to torture their husbands.He also described Bangladesh as sate of oppression and irregularities in his question paper.After noticing that school authorities canceled the exam.Being informed from local’s police arrested Ibrahim Dewan from his home.Police has filed a sedition case against him. School authority has also formed a three-member probe committee in this connection.
