New commissioners have been appointed to Chattogram, Rangpur, Barishal, and Gazipur metropolitan units of Bangladesh Police.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police's additional commissioner Krishna Pad Roy has been appointed as the new commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police, and Dhaka Range office's deputy inspector general and promoted as DIG Nure Alam Mina made Rangpur Metropolitan Police commissioner.
Naval Police's additional DIG and promoted as DIG Molla Nazrul Islam, and Chattogram Range's additional DIG and promoted as DIG Md Saiful Islam have been appointed as the new commissioners of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, and Barishal Metropolitan Police respectively.
The Home Ministry on Thursday issued a notification appointing them to the respective positions.
