The High Court (HC) has directed the authorities concerned to form an inquiry commission within 30 days to find out the people who conspired against Padma Multipurpose Bridge project.
An HC bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Kazi Md Ejarul Haque passed the order on Tuesday.
The court also ordered to submit a probe report within two months in this regard.
Secretaries to the Cabinet, Foreign Ministry, Law Ministry, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman and Inspector General of Police (IGP) were asked to implement the order.
Earlier on Monday, the HC raised the question that if there was no conspiracy then why would the World Bank suspend funding for the construction of Padma Bridge.
The court also observed that those who had opposed the Padma Bridge construction are enemies of the country and nation, and they must be identified.
