A student of Dhaka College was killed and another injured after a car hit a motorcycle in the capital’s Shahjahanpur on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Mirazul Islam Shaon, 23, son of Sirajul Islam of Shariatpur. He lived at Mayakanan area in the capital’s Sabujbagh.
Shaon’s uncle Raja Mia, said Shaon and his friend were returning home by a motorbike. They fell on the road when a speedy car hit the motorbike around 10:45pm. Later, they were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared Shaon dead.
DMCH police camp outpost In-charge Md Bachchu Miah said the body has been kept at the hospital’s morgue. The concerned police station has been informed about the matter.
