The sale of advance train tickets will start on July 1 on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said this in a press briefing at Railway Bhaban in the capital of Dhaka on Wednesday.
The selling of return tickets will begin from July 7, he said.
Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festival for Muslims, will be held in Bangladesh subject to the Moon appearing in the sky.
