The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations, which were scheduled to be held on June 19, have been suspended due to the worsening flood situation in several districts.
The Ministry of Education made the disclosure in a handout on Friday afternoon.
The exam will restart after the flood situation improves, said the handout.
This year a total of 20,21,868 students will sit in SSC and equivalent examinations.
