Members of police in a drive arrested three activists of Jamaat-Shibir in connection with the attack on Baul Ashram at Aktarpir village in Jibonnagar upazila of Chuadanga district on Monday morning.The arrestees are Md Arifur Rahman, 20, son of Jahirul Islam, Sahed Ali, 30, son of Shajahan Ali and Jamaat Ali, 42, son of late Niyamot Ali.Officer-in charge of Jibonnagar Police Station Humayun Kabir said in a drive in the upazila police arrested the trio for their involvement on Baul Ashram at Aktarpir village.Earlier, a group of miscreants carried out an attack at a Baul Ashram of Mukul Hossain, a Lalon follower on Satirday night around 11pm, leaving three devotee including two women.Shohidul Haque, father of Mukul Hossain filed a case against 7 or 8 unidentified people with Jibonnagar Police Station in this connection on Sunday night.
