Former State Minister for Water Resources, and BNP's Rural Development and Cooperatives Secretary Gautam Chakrabarty passed away on Friday afternoon.
He breathed his last around 1:30 pm while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital of Dhaka, BNP Chairperson's press wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed to Jago News.
Gautam Chakrabarty was State Minister for Water Resources during the BNP-led four-party government.
