Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the seat plan for holding MCQ type preliminary test for the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS)-2021 to be held on May 27.
The test will be held simultaneously in centers of eight divisional cities-- Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Barishal, Khulna, Sylhet, Mymensingh, and Rangpur -- on May 27 from 10am to 12noon, said a press release on Sunday.
According to the release, the candidate will not be allowed to carry books, all kinds of watches, mobile phones, calculators, all kinds of electronic devices, bank cards,s or credit cards like devices, ornaments, and bags in the exam halls.
In the presence of the executive magistrate and police, the candidates have to enter the exam halls showing admit cards. They will also be searched via metal detectors for detecting banned items, including mobile phones, watches, and electronic devices.
SMSs will be sent to the mobile phones of all the examinees for not bringing the banned items mentioned in the instruction to exam halls on the day of the examination. The applicant has to follow the instructions mentioned in the SMS.
Candidates will not be allowed to cover their ears during the test rather they will have to keep their ears open. If it is necessary to use any kind of hearing aid in the ear, the approval of the commission should be taken beforehand showing prescriptions of specialist doctors.

Earlier, the BPSC published a circular for the 44th BCS on November 30, 2021 for recruiting 1,710 civil servants in different cadre services.
