BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday said that his party will scrap the Digital Security Act (DSA) if it comes to power in the future.
He said this in a view exchange meeting on mass media at Jatiya Press Club in the capital of Dhaka this afternoon. BNP organized the program.
"Our clear declaration is that we will repeal all kinds of restrictive laws and ordinances, including the Digital Security Act if we form the government," Fakhrul said.
The BNP leader also expressed his party's pledge of fully implementing the journalists' wage board if it comes to power.
