Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique has asked the lower court judges not to visit abroad without an urgent need to avoid adverse effects on the country's economy.
A notice ordered by CJ and signed by Supreme Court Registrar General was issued in this regard on Thursday.
The notice read the tendency of going abroad showing different reasons has recently risen among the lower court judges.
So, Chief Justice wants them to refrain from overseas travel with a view to rendering fast judicial service to the justice seekers and avoiding a negative impact on the national economy, the notice said.
In this situation, they (lower court judges) have been directed not to apply for foreign trips without urgent necessities, it added.
