The Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association has decided to reduce the prices of gold by around Tk 1,166 per bhori (11.664 grams), with effect from Wednesday.
BAJUS's standing committee on pricing and price monitoring took the decision on Monday, a press release said on Tuesday.
Now, gold of 22-carat will cost Tk 76,516 per bhori, 21-carat Tk 73,017, 18-carat Tk 62,636 and gold of traditional method Tk 52,196 respectively.
Earlier on April 26, the jeweller’s association decreased the gold prices by Tk 1,167 per bhori to Tk 77,682.
